Mommy's burrito
I have nick names for each girl and have since the hospital. Brooke has been burrito since day 2 when I went in the NICU to find her all wrapped up like a burrito and loving it. She still loves it so I still call her burrito!
She was pequeño burrito now she is grande burrito!
p.s. Abby is "squeaker" so we will have to work on some video of that!

Going solo but certainly not alone...
Today is the first day that Michael has had to be at work all day (and is actually in Denver). We are 1 hour 47 minutes in to the day and so far so good! I am going solo but I am certainly not alone, thank you to all SIX people who are coming to help me at various times today. Can I say again how loved, blessed, and supported we feel. Thank you!

The last week or so
Our first official outing that wasn't a doctor's appointment, 20 days old. We went to lunch with Aunt Helena.
Thank you to everyone at CCVV who has made it possible for me to take some time off to be with the girls.

Aunt Helena's Facebook
If you are on facebook and can see Aunt Helena's facebook via Michael's page it is worth a look! Even though she got up at 4:00am yesterday to fly here, took a 3 hour shuttle in a crazy snow storm, immediately got to help by doing grocery shopping, starting help with feedings, stayed up for the 3am and 6am feeding, made lunch, has done all the dishes, a load of laundry, and is already cooking dinner, she has managed to take great photos, and make some really good facebook updates!
Mom status...
Just a quick update to tell you that I am doing really good! I just walked to a neighbors house to return a dish (that was filled with yummy soup when we received it) and check the mail. The girls were left in the loving care of Aunt Helena.
AND my awesome north face knee length puffy buttoned all the way up and around my belly! That was a vein but fun moment of celebration. Not so happy with 2 feet of snow in 2 days but fun to wear my favorite winter coat one last time this season and actually have it fit!
It seems like all post partum symptoms and issues are on the mend. I look forward to being off all the meds and feeling back to myself. In the mean time I will rejoice with each day that I feel a little better and give praise to the answered prayers!
Thank you for the love and support and giving us the time and space we have needed to heal.

Thank you meals ministry!
We have been blessed and well nourished by all those who have brought us amazing meals and are still scheduled to bring us meals. We have made those most of our 2 hours at dinner time while the girls are sleeping! Thank you, it wouldn't be possible without all of you!
