The Belly!

So far I have sworn off any photos of my belly without being standing up right, in the right lighting or position, and fully clothed. We have reached a new PEAK in belliness so I let Michael take these pictures on the camera phone during our doctors visit this week. It truly is unbelievable!

11 lbs 1 oz of babies in there!

35 Weeks

Baby A - 5 lbs 7 oz

Baby B - 5lbs 10oz

Both of them right on weight and size for this week!

Goal is still to wait until at least 37 weeks to deliver.

Their Room is Ready

Well I didn't exactly meet the deadline I had set for myself of having the house ready by February 1st at the latest. At least now their room is done! Still some small projects around the rest of the house but those aren't as critical as a place for the little ones to lay their precious heads and sleep through the night!

Bags are packed for dad and girls. Mom hopes to pack her bag tomorrow! We really do have a second car seat! Hopefully we are all set and this stuff will just sit there for another 3 weeks!

Wal-Mart Twin Pack????

The other day my neighbor, who is blonde, came running up to me in the driveway just jumping for joy! I didn't know why she was jumping for joy but I thought, what the heck, and I started jumping up and down along with her. She said, 'I have some really great news!' I said, 'Great. Tell me why: you're so happy.' She stopped jumping and, breathing heavily from all the jumping up and down, told me that she was pregnant! I knew that she had been trying for a while so I told her, 'That's great!

I couldn't be happier for you!' Then she said, 'There's more.' I asked, 'What do you mean' more'?' She said, 'Well, we are not having just one baby. We are going to have TWINS!'Amazed at how she could know so soon after getting pregnant, I asked her how she knew. She said... (You're going to love this!)'Well, that was the easy part. I went to Wal-Mart and they actually had a home pregnancy kit in a twin-pack. Both tests came out positive!'

Pre-natal Class at the hospital - 33 Weeks!

We will labor in a beautiful room like this looking out at the ski slopes of Vail!

Then when we reach the final stage we will be wheeled in to the OR for delivery (standard practice with twins), glad we found that out yesterday and I got to see the room.

Couples Shower

Yes, last night was our 4th baby shower. We can not express how loved and encouraged we feel by all of our friends and family who have been "showering" us for 8 the last months. Not just at the actual showers but via the mail, email, phone calls, meals, and so many other ways. Our girls are not even here yet and the love they have already received is overflowing from our hearts. Last night was one of the highlights of my pregnancy. I am blessed, I feel loved, I am so grateful, thank you.
